About the Instructor
Leo Herrera is a professor of music and languages who has taught students young and old for over 14 years. In 2007, he graduated in Music Education with a Golden Diploma from Amadeo Roldán, one of the most prestigious Cuban conservatories. Since then, Mr. Herrera has shared his knowledge of Music Theory and Solfege, Harmony and Music Appreciation. His passion for languages led him to learning and teaching English as a second language while living in Cuba. In 2018, he continued his career in the United States teaching Spanish to Pre-K through twelfth grade students in different schools through an immersion program. As a result of his solid background in music and languages, he is an experienced educator of excellence with a dynamic and appealing method of teaching.
